Tourmaline with Albite and quartz from Stak Nala, Gilgit-Skardu Road, Northern Areas, Pakistan. Three dark green, well-terminated crystals show prominently on this specimen. The penetrate the quartz crystal. The third and longest (3mm) sits on an albite crystal. Overall specimen size is 70x55x45mm.
Chalcedony pseudomorph after fluorite. Sharp bluish crystals cover the 35x20mm surface of this specimen. Equally interesting is the original “E.M.. Gunnell, Denver, Colo.” label supplied with the specimen. Gunnel lived from 1903 to 1986 and started selling his collection in 1977.
