A larger cabinet size specimen with an attractive grouping of three minerals. The dolomite preferentially covers one face of the red quartz. Chalcopyrite crystals are sprinkled across the display face. This specimen comes from Dongxiang Co., Jiangxi Province, Inner Mongolia, China.
An interesting specimen from Huanggang Mine, Hexigten Banner, Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, China. The contrast between the green and purple fluorite crystals is striking. intermittent exposure of the white matrix attenuates the color in the fluorite. The majority of the purple fluorite crystals are octahedral. However there are also some cubes.
An attractive larger plate of ‘sea foam’ green fluorite cubes. Crystals are sharp and up to 2.0 cm on edge. There is no damage and the luster is great.. This piece is very three dimensional. The specimen is from Xianghuapu Mine, Linwo Co., Chenzhou Prefecture, Hunan Province, China.
Well center crystals of deeper green fluorite crystals up to 4.0 x 3.8 cm. A small pink octahedral fluorite sits to one side of the main green fluorite crystal. Isolated crude quartz crystals and equally crude arsenopyrite crystals are also present. Overall a very nice composition piece. This specimen is from Huanggang Mine, Hexigten Banner, Chifeng, Inner Mongolia China.
