Weloganite from Francon Quarry, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Classic example of this rare carbonate mineral. Crystal up to 11mm in length sits / displays nicely in the pocket with calcite. Overall specimen size is 50x50x35mm.
Nice assemblage of lutrous reddish brown crystals on orthoclase matrix. Crystals are in good shape with only minor abrasion on the lessor crystal. This specimen is from Millar’s mine, Monmouth Township, Haliburton Co., Ontario, Canada.
Ilmenite with Burbankite from Poudrette Quarry, Mont. St. Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. Matix is 65x45x40mm. Three lustrous ilmenite crystals up to 5mm long are accompanied by clear burbankite crystals and minor pyrrhotite.
