A rather large grouping of hematite coated/included quartz crystals from Tinjedad, Morocco. The terminations on crystals are excellent. This specimen shows well from multiple directions.

Beautiful transparent blue to mauve color cubes up 2.0 cm on edge. Crystal edges are bevelled, (I believe the modified cubes are correctly described as tetra hexahedrons). Scattered pyrite is visible in the crevices around the perimeter of the specimen. The specimen is from the Jamina Mine, Corrales, Berbes – Caravia, Austurias, Spain.
Undamaged grouping of tan colored calcite crystals projecting prominently from a matrix which is covered with a first generation of smaller white calcite crystals. The top crystal is twinned. An unusual locality for me in that it comes from Gralex Quarry, Mont-sur-Marchienne, Charleroi, Hainaut Province, Belgium.
