Malachite
The matrix of this specimen is a banded green malachite which is covered by a later generation of pale green chrysocolla. Lustrous dark green malachite crystals in turn spread across the contrasting chrysocolla. This specimen is from the Mashaba West Mine, Katanga (Shaba), Congo. I purchased it out of a private Canadain collection.

Cerrusite
This is a large specimen from Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region, Namibia. The cerrusite is clear to colorless. The faces show interesting growth pattern. There is minor chipping on some of edges which in my opinion does not detract from the overall promenance of this piece. It has been in a couple of collections. It is provided with the original Ward’s label.
